How much does a move cost?
Hourly rates are based on home size: for 1-2 bedroom homes, $115/hr with 2 movers or $135/hr with 3 movers, then $185/hr for 3-4 bedroom homes and $215/hr for 5+ bedroom homes, with a 2-hour minimum. Heavy lifting jobs are priced by flat rate, and junk removal is priced by truck space.
What areas do you serve?
We cover Louisiana from corner to corner, including New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Shreveport, Lake Charles, Houma, and more. We also handle long distance and interstate moves.
Do you help with packing?
We handle professional loading and unloading of your packed items. If you need packing help, give us a call and we will set it up for you.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. HandStack Movers is licensed and insured, and every move includes protection for your furniture, floors, and surfaces.
How far in advance should I book my move?
For big moves like full home relocation, we require a week to 2 weeks in advance, however for smaller moves, same day request is acceptable.
